For the past nine years, Bill’s Seafood has hosted a golf tournament to support scholar-athletes from the shoreline towns of Westbrook, Clinton, Old Saybrook and Valley Regional High School (Chester, Deep River and Essex). Over the past ten short years, this scholarship has awarded over $160,000 in scholarships.
Bill's Seafood Restaurant is a landmark on the Connecticut shoreline. Thousands of area residents and tourists visit annually to experience the shoreline setting to the “tune” of Westbrook’s “singing bridge”. Our local communities have long supported Bill’s. Our golf tournament is a small way for us, the owners and staff to show our overwhelming gratitude.
Bill's Seafood Restaurant of Westbrook has announced the Bill's Seafood Scholar/Athlete Scholarship Awards for 2017. The recipients were:

The awards are from the proceeds of Bill's Seafood Golf Tournament and are annually awarded to student/athlete graduates of area high schools. The recipients are a male and a female student who, in their high school years, have demonstrated positive character, leadership and good citizenship qualities. They also participated in their school sports program and plan to further their education in a four-year college, junior college, business or vocational school. The recipients collectively received a total of $18,000 from the tournament proceeds.
